First impressions count, and your logo is likely the first piece of information your audience has about your company. Having a professional brand identity is no trivial matter; instead, it is a powerful tool that instantly communicates your corporate style and philosophy, and sets you above your competition. To say the least: Your logo can make or Br e-Ak your company, no pressure, right?
There are a number of different types of logos you could choose to represent your brand. Our designers have found that most of these will fall into three distinct categories: 1) Typographic, Word-mark or Logotype, 2) Graphic/Iconic, and 3) Illustrative/Character. Flat Vector logos (1 and 2) are very visually appealing - detailed enough to be recognisable, yet linear and technically simple enough to translate into most media usages. A Flat Vector logo is more cost-effective because less time is required to execute the creative process compared to an Illustrative Logo. Illustrative Logos (3) are more detailed and complex than a Flat Vector and are a pictorial (illustration) representation of an aspect of the company or product portrayed. This can be a business concept or a character/mascot. When an Illustrative logo is created correctly, it can become a unique branding and promotional tool that works well on many types of marketing materials such as corporate stationery, signage, promotional articles, and wearables. Our Creative Agents immerse themselves in the lives of your brand's potential users, uncovering their motivations and needs. Armed with these game-changing insights, they shape strategies with the power to radically shift behaviour. All creativity and development are performed in-house, by our Creative Director, Brand Manager, and Senior Designers. You will be working with us directly. With some of the larger creative firms, you may not receive this one-on-one attention, as projects often get tossed around between designers. As a small creative firm, we tend to bring creative flexibility by employing alternative ways of thinking instead of relying on methodologies when compared to larger companies. We deliver a more intimate connection with our team: There is a personal connection and direct consultation from designers who pick up their own phone. Are you ready to get in touch yet?
The first step to the creative process at our company is understanding our Client's business needs. To save us both valuable time, you will be asked to complete our digital Branding Questionnaire. This will help us understand your needs, insights and expectations. Then, we spend time learning about your business or product in order to create a fitting brand - avoiding cliche designs. Once we have gathered all the relevant information about your company, we start sketching and developing. The computer-drawn concepts are sent to you for approval. Once an option is chosen, we move on to a round of refinements.
We request a 50% deposit prior to starting our creative process and 50% balance on completion of the project(s). When a final logo has been refined and perfected, the second half of payment is expected. After we receive this payment, you will receive the appropriate files for print and web use (PDF and/or AI, JPG and PNG format).
